Candidate Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This notice explains how information is handled when you apply for a role or complete an interview through Frontir. It supplements Frontir's Privacy Policy.
Who is responsible for your information?
The employer or recruiting organization that published the role, received your application, or invited you to interview normally controls your candidate information and decides how long to keep it. Frontir provides the recruiting platform and processes that information on the organization's behalf.
Information processed
Depending on the recruiting process, this may include:
- your name and email address;
- your CV, LinkedIn URL, employment history, education, skills, and application information;
- your interview responses, transcript, and resulting assessments;
- audio, webcam video, and screen recording when you agree to and use those interview features;
- technical, security, integrity, and consent records such as IP address, browser information, and the time of consent.
How it is used
The information is used to:
- receive and manage your application;
- conduct and record an interview when enabled;
- create a transcript and AI-assisted assessment;
- compare your experience with the role's requirements;
- help the recruiting organization review your application; and
- protect the security and integrity of the service.
The recruiting organization is responsible for identifying the legal basis for its hiring process and for providing any additional notice required by local employment, recording, or AI laws.
AI and hiring decisions
Frontir uses AI services to conduct interviews, transcribe responses, analyze interview content, and compare CV information with job requirements. These systems can make mistakes and may not capture all relevant context.
Frontir does not make the final hiring decision. The recruiting organization is responsible for human review and for deciding how to use Frontir's output. Contact that organization if you want to correct information, provide context, challenge an assessment, or ask for human review.
Frontir does not use your application or interview content to train a generalized Frontir or third-party AI model unless the recruiting organization separately authorizes that use and you receive any notice or choice required by law.
Who can access it?
Your information may be accessed by:
- authorized users of the recruiting organization, subject to its workspace roles and department settings;
- Frontir personnel who need access to operate, secure, or support the service; and
- service providers supporting cloud hosting and storage, email, real-time audio and video, transcription, and AI processing.
Frontir does not place your profile or interview recording in a public candidate marketplace and does not share it with unrelated employers.
Retention and deletion
The recruiting organization controls how long candidate information is retained, subject to its agreement with Frontir and applicable law. Frontir retains the information on its behalf and may keep limited security, backup, or legal records for longer where necessary.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your information, or withdraw consent. Contact the recruiting organization first because it controls the hiring process and can identify your application.
If you cannot reach that organization, email privacy@getfrontir.com with the subject "Candidate Privacy Request" and identify the organization and role involved. Frontir may verify your identity and route the request to that organization.
To ask Frontir to delete your information, you can also use the data deletion request form. We confirm the request by email, then our team reviews it. Information we hold on behalf of a recruiting organization may be referred to that organization.
