Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Frontir Ltd. ("Frontir," "we," or "us") provides recruiting software that helps organizations receive applications, conduct interviews, and review candidates. This policy explains how personal information is handled when you use Frontir's website and services.
Our role
When an employer or recruiting organization uses Frontir to process candidate information, that organization normally decides why and how the information is used. It is the data controller or business, and Frontir processes the information on its behalf. Candidates should contact the organization that invited them or received their application for questions about its hiring practices.
Frontir acts as a controller for limited purposes that we determine, such as managing customer accounts, communicating with customers, securing the service, preventing abuse, and meeting our legal obligations.
Candidates can also read our Candidate Privacy Notice.
Information we handle
Depending on how you use Frontir, we may handle:
- Customer account information: name, email address, organization, role, authentication information, and account activity.
- Application information: name, email address, LinkedIn URL, CV, job history, education, skills, and other information included in an application.
- Interview information: interview responses, transcripts, audio, webcam or screen recordings when enabled, assessment results, and integrity events.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, session data, consent records, security logs, and service-usage information.
- Communications: messages and support requests sent to Frontir.
Frontir does not ask candidates to provide sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a particular role or required by the recruiting organization. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in a CV or interview response.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the service;
- create and manage customer accounts;
- receive applications and provide interview, transcription, and assessment features at the recruiting organization's direction;
- send service and transactional communications;
- detect fraud, abuse, and technical problems;
- comply with law and protect legal rights; and
- improve service reliability and usability using operational and diagnostic information.
Where Frontir acts as a controller, these uses are based on performing a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where the law requires it. The recruiting organization is responsible for the legal basis for its use of candidate information.
AI-assisted recruiting
Frontir uses AI services to conduct interviews, create transcripts, analyze interview responses, and compare CV information with job requirements. Candidate content may be sent to service providers to produce these results.
AI output is decision support for the recruiting organization. Frontir does not make final hiring decisions. Employers are responsible for reviewing results, considering relevant context, and complying with laws that apply to their hiring process. A candidate who wants to question a result or request human review should contact the recruiting organization.
Frontir does not use customer or candidate content to train a generalized Frontir or third-party AI model unless the customer has separately authorized that use in writing and affected individuals receive any notice or choice required by law.
Who receives information
We disclose information only as needed to:
- The recruiting organization: authorized users may access applications, interviews, recordings, transcripts, and assessments. Access depends on workspace roles and department settings; organization owners and administrators may have broader access.
- Service providers: vendors that provide cloud hosting and storage, authentication, email delivery, real-time audio and video, transcription, and AI processing.
- Legal and corporate recipients: authorities or advisers when required by law or necessary to protect rights, and a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Frontir does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
International processing
Frontir is based in Israel and its primary application infrastructure is hosted in Germany. Some service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, Frontir uses contractual and other lawful safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep information
Candidate information is retained according to the recruiting organization's instructions and the applicable customer agreement. Customer account, security, and business records are kept while needed to provide the service, secure it, resolve disputes, and comply with law. The retention period therefore depends on the type of information, the customer relationship, legal requirements, and whether the information is still needed for its original purpose.
Deletion from backups and service-provider systems may take additional time. We may retain limited information where law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Security
Frontir uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption, tenant separation, monitoring, and backups. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. These rights may be limited by law.
Candidates should normally send a request to the organization that invited them or received their application. Frontir will assist that organization where required. For information Frontir controls, or if you cannot reach the recruiting organization, email privacy@getfrontir.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity and route the request to the relevant organization.
Candidates can also ask Frontir to delete their information through the data deletion request form. We confirm the request by email, then our team reviews it. Information we hold on behalf of a recruiting organization may be referred to that organization.
You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection authority in your country or region.
Cookies
Frontir uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies needed for authentication, security, and core service functionality. We do not currently use them for targeted advertising. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.
Children
Frontir is not designed for children. If you believe a child's information was submitted without appropriate authorization, contact us so the matter can be reviewed with the relevant recruiting organization.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top of the page.
